–RG2 9,RG7 1&2

Ave UK speed

–Offcom 2/3/12 say this is 6.2Mbps so you can see that we are definately disadvantaged
The result is that Finchampstead in particular finds using You Tube and I Player difficult and I suspect this also reduces Netflix usage

I have some good news for Finchampstead, BT still appear to be on course for a July upgrade.

I have been offered BT Infinity 2 with a down load of 56Mbps and ordered on the 1st of June, 2012. Delivery is supposed to be soon and my neighbour has a date of mid June.

I let everyone else who lives in Finchampstead know and the comments are interesting. Very few were able to order. Most are offered a delivery in July, pl order nearer the date.

BT appear to be getting their act together and I really will be interested to see how fast my line will go.

Philip Lee remains in close contact and is hoping to see BT senior management later this month.

I think it is poor that Andy Couldrick as the chief executive of Wokingham Borough Council cannot tell us what sort of broadband speeds are needed for council employees to efficiently work at home.
